I had big plans for this year but I just never could get on a turkey that wanted to play the game....This season was definately completely different from my first 2! msu33 4 point Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 589 Mulberry, TN	Kansas was a blast. We hunted public land only, which was tougher than we thought. Seemed like all the birds were on private land bordering the Walk in areas. But we found a few spots. We almost limited out. My buddy got two, and I only got one, a great trip. You wouldnt beleive the amount of turkeys. Every where you looked there were toms strutting in a field. Rio's are real reactive to decoys. I got some video of a jake violating my hen decoy, and we doubled up on two birds that came sprinting to the b-mobile. The birds we killed were only 2 year olds, so I wont be entering mine into the contest...just wont score any better than my others. I will probably go back to kansas one day to try and get a better bird...there is one that gave me the slip for two days that I would like to go back after next year.
