First off this ant a two year old its a big bird that has been tough to get him to come to call already and a friend of missed him after I called him in. He might have got afew pellets in him but not enough to kill him! He said he hit him but I never found any feathers. How would you guys about killing him?

Yes if he wants to come in he will. I missed a bird twice in the same day when I was younger and dad killed him the next day. I'm 100% sure it was the same bird because it had a really weird gobble and there was some pellets in his breast from me.

Had my first miss ever 2 weeks ago(knew it had to happen eventually). Went back to same area next morning, set up early within 100yds of spot where I missed the day before. When it got light I looked up and there he set watching me.Came back the next week and he was still there and I got him; but I had to work him for 5 hours! Set up at 6AM and shot him at 11:15. The turkey gobbled for probably 3 1/2 out of the 5 hours; never heard anything like it.
