What is your favorite way, to go after those green bastages we call Bass?

For years, I was a soft plastics, finesse type fisherman. Before I moved to Florida, I started really experimenting with crankbaits and it has become probably my top preferred way to fish.

Anything but a crankbait grin

Prolly flippin grass, when the bite is on and they bite it before you engage the spool. Bending a 7.5' heavy rod in half with 10' of line out does it for me.
Swim jig is a close 2nd, its like a topwater bite right at the boat. Often times they will cartwheel out of the water trying to swallow the jig before it gets away.
I'd much rather catch a 2lb bass doing one of the above than a 40lb cat or stripe.

I love fishing with a crankbait! Deep or shallow doesn' t matter. I also like wading a creek and throwing a Mepps Inline spinner on a Zebco 33. Exciting when they hit!

I love the anticipation of the strike, while crankbait fishing. Being in the open water and not being able to see the structure just adds to the anticipation.

Now I still love fishing soft plastics as well, especially sight fishing.

During warm weather, I really like throwing a buzzbait.

A jig, whether flipped or swimming it, is what makes me smile and think about the next trip.

Yep... A jig here as well... Either shallow grass or deep points... Have actually caught better fish off deep points.... other than the Big G.....

Man, thats tough, I like em all really. i can crank all day, and throw plastics all day, but my favorite would have to be anything top water. A good ole sammy spook or a pop R, but if i had to pick just one it would probably be frogging, i love draggin them mats late summer, early fall. I love the blow ups

I love shallow cranking and swim jig/chatterbait. I hate plastics, which is probably why I sucked at Lay this weekend. Between the rain and the fish bite, That BFL tournament kicked my tail

Crank baits and flutter spoons. I love throwing them square bills in a tree top and working it out. Over any limb can be a big ole fish.

Buzzbaits or frogs, followed closely by swimming a jig.
