My dad casts sidearm. I've had several close calls with a big spinnerbait whizzin' in front of my face and had to move back a step or two on the back deck! Fortunately, he hates the C-rig as much as I do.

Well, I was going to order some of those new tungsten weights, but I can't decide if I'm getting 3 dozen for $7.29 or if they come by the pound.

Favorite way--Wake bait on calm, hot, mid-day in June near schooling areas and humps. Really gets scary at times.

Shhh ... the first rule of Wake Bait Club is you don't talk about Wake Bait Club.

Used to be wading throwing a #9 or #11 silver and black floating Rapala. Caught many, many bass doing that. Especially enjoyed wading the Mulberry River. Now, since I don't have a boat and my ankles and knees aren't near as strong as they used to be, I mostly fish farm ponds with plastic worms, brush hogs and the same floating Rapala's.

Bandit makes a nice wake bait. Lucky Craft has a jointed waker that is pretty good. Found a bunch on sale for $10 at Mark's.

I LOVE Bandit crankbaits! That blue splatter back has caught me a lot of fish.

Didn't know that Bandit made a wake bait (I mean a fake bait). Guess I'll just have to check into it. The ones I've been using are homemade or a remodeled, different type of topwater.

My all time favorite is U-tale June Bug plastic zoom worm. Next would be a shakey head weight and worm, and then a trick worm.
