Thanks hopefully they tiny and painless when they run the "tunnel". Probably better that they happen now than say deer or turkey season.

So...are you experiencing pain from a stone that is still in your kidney or has it begun to pass into the bladder? When I had stones, I would have little bouts of pain when they were in my kidneys, but the real deal began as soon as they started passing through the ureter. 3 straight hours of pure, unbridled TORTURE. Unlike anything I've ever felt in my life and there is nothing you can do to knock the edge off other than perhaps pain medicine. My biggest passed stone made it to my bladder about 2 minutes before they got the IV with pain meds started so it didn't do much good other than to help me rest and recover. I pray you actually don't have them and if you do...they're small!

What happens is they get hung most of the time at the junction before it goes up toward the bladder or they will hang right at the point they enter the bladder . If they are so big they hang up in the ureter and cannot be voided your lookin at Lithotripsy . I hope you can pass it and get some relief .

Hope the pain ends soon! If u have a choice of them breaking them up or going to get them, take the busting. Trust me!

Finally left the ER after 6 hours of tests and all and I am fortunate enough to have 2 stones, one in my bladder and one in my kidney waiting to cause mind numbing pain.

Hey bullets are worth alot nowadays so she was smart not to waste high dollar ammo and the doc basically patted me on the back and said good luck.

I'm working in it now and i have had cheap whiskey taste better than this. Seriously horrible would be and understatement for what this taste like. I'm a big sissy and chasing it with cran apple juice

Hold your nose and drink it all in one gulp. If your just now trying it you weren't hurting near as bad as I was. I would have drank antifreeze if I thought it would help.

This morning I would have drank 50 year old motor oil with pig piss in it and that is just for what the doctor called a leg cramp type feeling (stone going from kidney to bladder) which means the worst is yet to come (from bladder to the toilet). I told the doctor I've played ball all my life and never had a cramp feel that bad. He just laughed and said well you won't like the rest of its journey at all then.
