Here's what a 2 oz load of 9x8s looks like (10" circle) out of my Mossburg 500 and a XFull sporting clays choke: 40 yds 50 yds 60 yds 70 yds 80 yds

Do the 5s and 6s pattern as good? Yes. All of it patterns good. But since 5s and 6s are too big for turkeys I haven't messed with them much and don't have pictures. Number 1s and BBs will all be in a 2 foot circle at 40 yds with a factory flush mount full choke.

I'm shooting Nitro 4x5x7s. I think the 7s are too small. Don't have any data on it, really, just based on turkeys that I've killed. Thinking about getting away from duplexes, but will shoot what shoots best.

Are they available in factory loads? No. It has to be hand loaded, but it is very simple and doesn't require reloading equipment. Set of scales and a little cheap drill press and you'll be ready.

Could you elaborate with pics how this process goes and the tools needed in a separate thread please. I am very interested in loading some.

There's really not much to elaborate on.............Hawglips has already done all the research and come up with loads that have been tested at the lab and are safe. If you buy some shot from him he will give you a recipe for whatever you want to shoot. You use primed hulls and just pour in the powder and then put in the wad, shot and buffer and whatever spacers are necessary to fill the hull properly. . Then you put an overshot card on top of it and roll crimp the end of it. There are lots of roll crimping videos on YouTube.
The only tools you need are a set of digital scales, a roll crimping tool and a little dowel of some type to pack the ingredients down in the hull.

Take the hull and weigh out the powder, put the powder in then you will put the wad in. Then weigh out the shot and put it in the wad. 437.5 grains = 1 ounce so do the math.
After the shot you weigh out the buffer, I then use a small jitter bug massager, I take the shell with the buffer piled up on top and touch it down on the massager when its running and the buffer will slowly migrate down between the shot. Anything that vibrates will work, some people use a razor, some just tap it on the table till it settles. You do it till the shot starts showing.
After that you put the overshot card on top and roll crimp.
I may have over looked something but this should be most of everything. You may come up with some more questions but this should help get the general idea of everything.
The load will vary if you should use felt, cork spacers, and mylar but this is pretty much it.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I use this scale. 27.99 And this crimp tool. 27.99 Powder, hulls, wads, fillers, buffer, mylar, and overshot cards. Your shot is where the money is. I also use a few little things I had around the house, small measuring spoons for dipping the shot out, one of those little vibrating massagers to vibrate the buffer down. I think I did buy a little powder scoop for the dipping it out of the container.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

just shot my benelli sbe 2
9x8-241 in 10", straight 9 2oz-266 in 10", 9x8-199 in 10", straight 8-221 in 10"...all lasered 50 yards
shot into a solid piece of 3/8" plywood. i had previously shot this same sheet with nitro 4x5x7H 3.5" shells at 50 yards. The heavyshot was stuck to the surface of the plywood. The tss did not pass thru but it did all go so deep that i couldnt see it. Bad stuff for sure. Also I ran a bore snake thru the barrel twice between shots
