I know... I would marry her just for her cooking if I wasn't already. She cooks with butter in everything and that's a country/redneak boys dream.

Politics aside this attack on her is an attack on people from the south period. If she was from Boston she would have still been fired from the Food Network but the story would have died in 2 days.

She is a southern woman with a southern accent who is being persecuted for being those things. Every few years an elite group of black "leaders" and white liberals must get together and pick a target and this time they picked Paula Dean. Hmmm, just in time for the Zimmerman trial too.

And for the record: I know of at least a dozen meat and 3 places in Alabama better than her Lady & Sons Restaurant. The food was good, but nothing great. Niki's West makes her food look like Golden Corral.

Not to steal the show but if you're going to boycott something because they are Democrates or because they believe in something that you don't you're fixing to have a very boring life. For starters, you gonna have to quit watching TV because odds are in favor of having someone from the other party on the channel you're watching. That also means no more ballgames. You don't think that everyone that plays on your favorite sports team is a Republican do you? I know y'all don't want to hear this, but I'm sure that some of the hunting items you own/wear/use were made by person of the other party. Heck I would hate to know that I had to give up everything that I enjoyed to do just because it was made by a Dem or promoted by one. Come on people I dont like the Kenyan anymore than the next person but its not going to make me give up on the things that I like to enjoy. Sorry for the hi-jack. Everyone shall carry on now.

I quit Starbucks and I've survived. I quit using UPS when I can, and I'm OK. I stopped giving to United Way and I'm alright. I avoid Wal-Mart as best as I can and thus far I've survived. We are basically done with Boy Scouts once the new organization rolls out, and we'll be fine. No more Ben & Jerry's ice cream either, and i've still retained my fat daddy status. I left my longtime church because of false teaching, and I'm all the better.

Each person should boycott as they feel led. Everything, a select few or zero, whatever floats your boat.

I go out of my way to keep from supporting Democrats. I started telling folks about her being a Democrat the day after she got dropped by the Food Channel. Hell with her.
