Bella is the little 22 month old that has been with us for about 5 months now. The court ruled today that she is to go live with some extended family. I don't agree with the placement for reasons I cannot share. But they are family and they are willing to step up and take her in and raise her. So for that, I'll sing their praises for that is what family is supposed to do...step in.
Pray for Bella to be able to handle the pretty sudden move...she is leaving our care in about 30 minutes with very little transition, just a few visits and 2 overnight this past weekend. She is attached to us deeply, so I just pray she is able to deal with it and get comfortable in her new home with new people.
Pray for her on that. Pray that my family and myself can also find some comfort with her leaving. She has been a cherished and integral part of our family and I can say I love her as my own daughter, if I had one. Tough on my wife and boys for sure. This isn't about us though, it is about her and our calling from God to help out where we can.

Prayers for your family. Fostering is such a gift, but my poor heart couldn't take it. Takes special folks and I admire your family for that.
If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.
