They suck.

But then again, I'm not exactly a morning person. I don't even like my own family to talk to me in the morning.

So I'd much rather have a morning show where the DJ will just STFU and play music, rather than run his mouth nonstop saying stuff that's not even funny.

Yes , they are a family show, but I think a lot of people that semi-know them, don't like the fact that they try to talk huntin and fishin and sound like one of the boys, when truth is they couldn't catch a fish in a bathtub or kill a deer without a guide and a high fence. Not saying they are bad people, just kind of sounds silly the way the try and be one of the boys, and they are far far from it. Bubba is much more real than Rick is for sure. He doesn't really try and make himself out to be more than he really is.

If you like Rick and Bubba because they are a "family" show, don't even bother trying to find Lex and Terry on the radio dial. They are as far from a "family" show as you'll find.

I listened to Rick and Bubba for a week or so a few years ago, and that was all I could take. Same with John Boy and Billy. Listen to Lex and Terry now for the 10 minutes or so that I'm in my truck in the mornings.

I'm surprised at the dislike for Rick & Bubba on here. They openly stand for pretty much everything most of us do. I don't know of any other personalities on t.v. or radio that come as close to thinking like we do, and then having the fortitude to talk about it regardless of whether it gets them booted off of radio stations. I listen to them all I can.

My favorite stories are of Rick's Dad. He sounds just like my Dad. In particular, I can recall one about his Dad giving him a hard time about his fancy grill.

I also like the Dr. Lou segments in the fall.

I don't listen to their show a lot but I catch it sometimes. I listen to Christian music and morning shows. However, they are stand up guys. Yall need to check out Rick's testimony at a sportsmans banquet in florida. It is awesome and really convicted me a while back about believing but not doing. You may think they have it made by having a radio show, but I can't imagine talking for 3-4 hours about this pitiful world we live in. Headlines about who cares. They at least give God glory. I'm not there #1 fan but respect them. If you don't like them, turn the station.

Oh yeah, the story about Bubba kicking the woman and killing her snake is priceless. And Dr. Lou is hilarious.

They are good guys and I listen to them on occasion. Rick has an awesome testimony that he shares.

Just kidding I been working for Rick & Bubba for 12 years keeping their land and farm up,they are pretty good to work for. They stay so busy don't have time to enjoy life like a lot of people , but they are good folks. Sometimes I get tired of hearing them to, when they talk about Garry the bull dozer man thats me . I helped Rick pull some corn friday , he is going to give it away Monday on the show.

I listen to the show as often as I can and enjoy it. They love the Lord, state of Alabama, advocates for gun rights and hunting and fishing.

You nailed exactly what I was thinking. Who else out there speaks openly about Jesus, guns, football, hunting and fishing. Maybe if they had more cussing and innuendoes more of you would like it. And I don't think I've ever heard them brag about being expert hunters. There's people on this forum that are equivalent to their hunting skills or worse. I go to church with "super Tom" their engineer. He is also a good guy. I believe that their somewhat celebrity allows them to get invited to hunt farms that anyone on this forum would be happy to get a chance to hunt. If you don't like them turn the station.

I enjoy there show, about the last show on the air that I dont have to worry whether my kids can listen. Just a good clean funny show. And above all they stand for God, family and country.
