i wasn't trying to prove to you about panthers being in la. i was saying yep i believe they are there. you say you saw one i am agreeing with that.point taken it is a pretty big house cat. there has been seen on red stone real 4 legged cougar near the sprkman bldg. on the road headed towards gate 9, south of the mwr bldg.

What if it's a panther kitten? What if that pic is taken 20 miles from the nearest house, where a house cat would be very rare?

There is no such thing as a black colored cougar, mountain lion, painter, whatever.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I'd tell you all about the black one I saw on several occasions on the south end of Redstone in the late 70's but since they don't exist I won't bother smile

I'll make this offer, ANYONE that kills a wild, free range solid black panther/mt. lion/cougar in Alabama, show it, get it in the paper ,net, facebook, take it to the GW's. I'll personally bail you out of jail and put up $ for your defense. Go get me one.

Offer only good for 4 legged, feline black panthers. grin

as my flight surgeon doc cooper used to say , it's all good, and it don't matter.i bet they got the crap scared out of them last night with the storms we had, that woke me up real early. wondering if the power was going to go off, and my cpap quit, but it ran just fine. i woke up around 9:00am refreshed ready to go. hungry now.:)
