mfd53 stinkbackandfront Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 944 Monroe Co.	This is the way my grandaddy done it I also do it this way and it works. We freeze ours in clear Karo syrup. We purge them in water, which also helps clean them, place them in a peanut butter jar and fill with syrup. The never change colors nor do the get mushy. When ready to fish get a couple out and place in water in a coffee can and use like normal. we have done this as long as I can remember.

I bag them as soon as I get home and get them out of the water and in the freezer ASAP. Don't give up, don't ever give up!
