do not under ANY circumstances put a collar on that deer, it will hang up on something and kill her. Collars are a death sentence. Are there ear tags or anything that are safe and could help distinguish her in the wild Troy? Maybe save her life during hunting season? Cool stuff Daniel!  you could put a red/orange tag in each ear. Won't stop some jacklegs from shooting her though....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Orange or pink "Artic flagging" would make a great temp collar. It will stretch, but a deer could tear it.

My cousins caught a fawn 5 years ago. It was a buck, and a feisty one at that. He survived 1.5 years. His first set of horns was descent to, good size 5 pointer. That deer had it made, apple trees in the yard, and pear trees. He loved for you to grab his horns and tangle with him.
He wound up getting run over about 200 yards down the road from were they lived
