I never thought UA Special Team play would be the difference here.
28-10 but it still feels like UA is just holding on. Only 29 yards rushing.

I never thought UA Special Team play would be the difference here.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Va Tech is a well coached team. Beamer is well respected as a coach and has had all summer to prepare. It takes a few games for a OL to gel. This isn't Towson or Toledo or some of the other also ran teams. Yep! You can't take much from the first game of any team. May play great or may play so-so. Both sides are working out kinks.

I'm tremendously disappointed. Our O-line is pathetic against the VT front. Foster's schemes are more than we can adapt to, which is discouraging.
I'm not sure what the deal is with Cooper - he had two balls go right through his hands. Thank goodness for Vinnie and Jones.
AJ's had a few balls there were thrown late and with too much air. RBs have missed picking up on the blitzes. I could go on, but I'll just sit back and hope we can hang on for the W.

Having 2 awesome back to back previous teams that could have given lessons to most pro teams is hard to follow though.

At least we won't have to listen to the Newton's in here complaining about the lack of holding from our line this year. I guess the dissertation they sent the NCAA was well received, lol.
CNS won't have a problem finding coaching points. Maybe we'll drop a few spots and lose any sense of entitlement they might have. The field is full of talent, but they are all heading in their own directions it seems.
