Remember it well.. Nothing like Opal though in this part of the state. Indeed Opal did more inland damage all the way through the center of the state into Tenn and Georgia. That was also an October storm. I spent 3 weeks in Troy Skinny, with the NG cutting up trees and such after Opal.
