I will have to take a pic of it, but we made a homemade spreader out of a 5 gallon bucket, an old fan motor from a car, a frisbee, some pieces of angled metal, a piece of flat metal, a ratchet strap, a variable speed switch, and some bolts.
We drilled a hole in the bottom of the bucket large enough for the shaft of the motor to fit through (the motor sat inside of the bucket).
We bolted the angled metal onto both side of the frisbee (this is what threw the seed). At first, we only put the pieces of angle on one side and the frisbee split. With pieces on each side, it held together. We drilled a hole in the center of the frisbee, and then bolted the frisbee onto the motor shaft.
We cut a hole in the bottom of the bucket so that the seed would fall out and a thin cut in the side of the bucket for the flat metal gate to slide in and out to plug the hole. We then cut thin slits around the top edge of the bucket and ran the ratchet strap through it like a belt. This is how we attached it to the four wheeler.
We wired the variable speed switch to the battery and to the motor. This allowed us to change the speed of the motor to match the speed of the four wheeler.
This still works great today!

I've been using a moultrie for years that bolts down to my ATV. Holds 50lb
I've went through two in 7 years (well, on second one now) but now I know I can buy the motor for under $50 so next time, I'm buying a new motor. My fault the first one went bad.
Make sure you keep it cleaned and oiled
