I understand.....it's hard....but the more of em you kill the easier it gets If it got any easier for some of these folks (they know who they are), the turkeys would have to kill themselves just as they came into killing range.

I only wear tennis shoes turkey hunting....with the soles glued backwards so it looks like I'm going when I'm coming! Lol

I've killed a few; still want to shoot some more. A LOT more.  I would be a miserable tv hunter. It would go something like this: Camera Guy - I see him! Let him make it to that opening and we'll try to get him to put on a show! Me: Boom!!! Gotta take the shot when its presented; fooling around with a turkey can lead to a bad jinx. MFK is too young to understand such things. If he keeps hunting, he will.

What do you mean by a bad jinx?? I've called up the same turkeys 3 days in a row before we shot them..... You fixin to get a sure enough, Aldeer Beards and Spurs forum, education now. Hang around this place pal....if you're a serious turkey hunter, you will love it in time....takes a little while before they fully accept you though. They wouldn't even allow me to hunt turkeys for several years....much less join in the posting here.
