I have used a coke, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, chek cola, any type soft drink works about the same. Very good and very moist.

I always inject mine with creole butter ! Poke as few holes in the skin as possible.

I use a beer, baste it with melted butter then ad red pepper and whatever spices i want on it.

Last ones i made I used a weber chicken seasoning and Coke. Basted with some apple cider vinegar. Cooked on the treager for about 2 1/2 hours. Ya buddy.
