...and THAT is what it's all about. Count your blessings that you were able to share this time with your daughter.

what kind of ground blind are you using? I have a Doghouse that I am planning to use this year with my son (8 years old) and there is not a whole lot of room left in it when we are both in there, so I imagine we will outgrow it quickly. It's an Ameristep Brickhouse. We have a few of them. They're good blinds and not too pricey.

Stephen is 6 and I let him shoot my wifes 1187 20ga the other day. he hit with it at 25 yds so youth hunt will be interesting.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

That's the cutest thing I've seen since I kissed my little girl bye this morning. Life worth living right there.

Little ones make life worth living. I have never regretted the time spent in the woods with my boys. They are both grown and gone but still love to hunt. Now my grand kids are getting the hunting fever.

We're back at it today. I've hunted this field twice since the day she last came with me and was skunked both times. She's been wanting to go again so we're back in the blind. She picked out which arrow we were going to shoot and said it was the lucky one. We shall see!

said it was the lucky one. We shall see! You already are having a lucky one. Grat, and you are a good dad for taking your kid.

I don't push her to go with me because I don't wanna burn her out, but when she asks and wants to go, we'll be in a blind somewhere. I'll never understand people who don't want to spend time with their kids.

That is an awesome way to spend time in the ground blind. Memories forever!
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
