Been set up since just after one about 150 yards off a foodplot in an oak flat on the edge of a beaver pond in Greene County. Hope I have better luck than yesterday. Things are off to a promising start. Had this 5pt. come in and feed around me for about 10 minutes before moving along.  Hell, that one was big enough for you to ride  Maybe so, be he needs another 100# and 3 more years to be a shooter.

Afternoon everyone. Settling in for a cool afternoon hunt.The wind is a little unpredictable today as it swirls along this ridge food plot I'm sitting near. I hope the deer pile in here before this first cold night of the year. Good luck everyone.

Had a doe and yearling come in from behind me. They got within 10 yards and I couldn't get a shot. Momma ain't far away because the yearling is bedded down 18 yards from me.

Got to camp early checked cameras and hung a stand for in the morning. Been settled in on a food plot hoping the wind will lay before dark. Maybe one will brave the wind and come out in this plot.

Sitting on the edge of a green patch with6 oak trees and to my right is a hardwood flat. Maybe something will stroll by this evening. Wind still a little strong. To my left  To my right

I wasn't planning on hunting today since my wife is off of work. She told me to go hunting, so here I am. Got set up a little before 2 and by 220 had a spike at 23 yards. Haven't seen anything since.
