I believe Sharpshooter and everybody else on here would love their child no matter what. He wants the best for his kids, as I do. He has strong feelings on the subject and I sure do understand it.
There are sorry cultures within EVERY color and race. There are also some VERY good people in each.
When I refer to a man, when speaking with others, I NEVER qualify him by his color unless it is an imperative. I don't say, "this black guy" or "this white guy" unless there needs to be a clarification. I say "this man" or "that man".
When you personally know and love friends in this type relationship, as I do, it changes your views a lot.

Good point Deadwood. I wouldn't want my daughter dating an Asian or Hispanic or any one other than a Caucasian. If that makes me a racist, so be it. So if she did you no longer would love her or accept her choice even if he was a great husband and provider? Had you rather have some white trash lowlife deadbeat for a SIL if that was the choice? Don't put words in my mouth. She'd still be my daughter. After she is an adult I have no say so in her choices. WHOEVER she chooses to be with had better damn well treat her with dignity and respect. I don't like the commercialization of a lot of other things. For instance, I don't care for business owners putting their kids on TV commercials to tug at my heart strings to buy their service or product. I don't like car dealer commercials that have young'uns at Christmas time screaming "Happy Birthday Jesus" while trying to separate me from my money and implying that if I buy their car, I'm somehow a better Christian.
I love kids. I love Jesus. I love new cars. If I don't like the commercial with those elements together, I simply change the channel.

We are all gods creation that's why ! I really wasn't even saying that animals are human like any way. However they are all living breathing creations of God . That's just the way I see it . Not that it matters to any one but me . But that's the way I see it. You know though in some ways animals and humans have similar ways if u think about it. Except animals don't cross with other animals. I've got a genuine jack-a-lope out in my shop right now, had him for 30 odd years, so don't give me none of that shee-yit.
