sounds like a shaw shot to me. i remember he told me he shot a doe in the head i am sure he didn't mean to, but beings as he is a marksman with a bow, i feel, he might intended to make that shot. IDK confused

Nope the head shot was not intentional and I would never attempt it on a whitetail. The doe was at 35 yards quartered away. When I released the arrow she jumped the string. The arrow passed over her body, struck her in the back of the head right between the ears and exited through her left nostril. She was DRT.

Creek is only about 1 foot deep, but it does spread out kind of swampy in places. Lots of mucky places will find you waist deep in a hurry. I looked up and down that creek pretty good.

I ask because I found one of mine in just enough water where it made you look for it to see it. I could have easily gandered over and said "nothing there." It was under water.

Yep stuck one in the neck years ago with, a ole vortex broadhead.. She went about 3yards then done a back flip, unintentional of course I hit a limb & it struck her right under her jaw....
