However, please check the seat and make sure it is not dry rotted before climbing 40' up a pine tree. I took my stands to Canvas Products in Mobile and had new padded seats added after 2 of mine dry rotted. Just so nobody gets their feelings hurt.....I have no clue as to the shape of the stand in this thread. I'm just issuing a safety warning as I almost had a bad bad experience.

But this 1 is still in good shape. Not even faded yet. Never been left out side other than a few week. And always stored in the garage
