I have a 14 yr old son who's only requestfor Christmas is a bow. He has killed a couple of deer with a rifle, but it adamant that he wants to bow hunt. I want to get him one but not spend a fortune on something until I know that he will stick with it.
Can you guys give me some suggestions on good starter bows that can grow with him as he finishes this growth spurt he is on. Adjustable draw length, reliable and a good value. I dont necessarily want the cheapest bow out there but a good one for the money.
ROLL TIDE !!!
Enough Said....

X2!!!! Check out the draw length and draw weight range! If something were to break on your bow you could set this one up to your specs in little time.

I have a Ben Pearson Predator that I might would let go of.It's set at 28" and 55lbs. And according to specs it is adjustable from 26.5" to 30.5". It has all needed accessories to start shooting. Copper John battle axe sight, drop away rest, bohning quiver, sims stabilizer, peep and wrist sling. Has been shot less than 100 times. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

My son is twelve and is shooting a PSE brute x.25 to 30 inch draw with 60 pound limbs which gives it 40 to 60 pound range great smooth bow. You can get a brand new bare for around 300 bucks we started him out with a mission at first when he was 7 the PSE IS A LOT better bow in my opion .
