Man, I love seeing kids out there hunting and the smiles when they get a deer.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Just turned 7 in August and put the hammer down on a floppy eared nanny!
Doe 101lbs
Pickens
Overcast
8:00am
100yd shot
60yd recovery
Abolt 7mm-08.
When driving down last night I told him that if we didn't see a buck we would take a nanny if given the opportunity. He said he didn't want to shoot a mama. As soon as he saw the 3 does come skirting across our lanes I asked if he wanted to shoot one. He smiled and said yes sir. I wasn't planning on let him shoot this year but once I saw him shoot that rifle good and wasn't scared of it I knew this was the year.

Proof that killin deer is exhausting. Afternoon hunt.

If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.

my 7 year old's second buck. 180# 7 point. He killed a button buck last year and said this year he wanted to kill a buck he could mount. After he killed him I reminded him I was 18 before I killed my first buck and that was after 10 years of hunting. I couldn't be prouder of him but down deep wouldn't mind if he goes two or three years without killing another one. Don't want him to get spoiled. LOL
