Awesome buck man!! Yesterday was beautiful, I didn't see a deer but got to watch a bobcat stalk a racoon. Lasted about 20 mins and the racoon got away..

Nice deer! Looks like he had just finished a rub somewhere. How is the hunting over that way right now? Seen any signs of the rut or just pre-rut stuff? I will be in Notasulga/Auburn area for the weekend hunting with a buddy.

I will be in Notasulga/Auburn area for the weekend hunting with a buddy. I have seen some fresh scrapes the last couple of trips but the rut is still at least 4 weeks away. The buck I killed did not have any tarsal staining. They have been coming into our fields really good on these cold afternoons. Find a good food plot or acorn tree that has not been pressured and the deer should be there. I think pressure is the key in December.

Congrats. I kill very few of my bucks, during the rut.
