Recovery distance: DRT Setup: Open hardwood ridges between greenfield and pine thicket. In a climbing stand. I was positioned on a ridge downwind of the ridge the deer were actually using. He was the 3rd buck to come thru. He checked and freshened 2 scrapes on top of the ridge he was traveling. Comment: I love my X-bolt .308. And my X-bolt loves Hornaday Superformance SST's 150gr. Deer hate it however. Would post photo but not skilled enough. GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
