Does a member here have an Old' Man climber at the management area right now? I moved locations this pm up a few hundred yards of where I've been set up, I got to this spot and and it was one of those "This is it, right here spots". Well I'd been up the tree for about an hour and I was just scanning, thinking again what an awesome spot this was, when something caught my eye about 30 yds to my right and s little behind me. It was a freakin stand! Anyway, I'm going to leave my Gatorade G2 bottle at the base of the tree. If its somebody on here PM me.

Heck no I didn't steal it!!!! I hate a theif like outdoorobsession. Haha. I left the BOTTLE. I didn't have pen or paper. Really wanted to see if it was someone on here so we could communicate and not walk in on each other during gun hunts, because I think we are approaching the area from different places.

I dunno. That would be awesome if they did move. But it is a WMA , so they have just as much claim to it as I do.

I was going to leave mine, but with a cable lock, until I saw that other one. My luck, the guy would take mine after I left his.

I leave mine out there periodically if I know I'm returning to that spot in the AM. That's not mine though. If you see a Summit Viper PLEASE don't steal it. I cover mine with pine straw though. It's just so much easier to not have to pack in and out on consecutive days. Don't forget they may have walked out to get lunch or something and may be coming right back.
I would have turned it upside down or moved it to a neighboring tree just to mess with them. HaHa

Hanging a pair of skid marked women's panties on it is the only option if you return.

I was hunting wheeler and found one a couple years ago. The difference is at wheeler thats illegal by there rules you can't leave it out over night. I just un-hooked it from the tree ad left it there. Never did go back to see if he had gotten it out.
When I was in college at Jacksonvile State I used to hunt some Forrest land. I would leave my stand but cable looked it. I just hated carrying it in and out. I found 2 on Wheeler, one was on the tree I was intending to climb and the other was just a few yards away. I didn't take them but I sure as hell flagged them up good with my spare paper towels and their pull up ropes. I had taken off that afternoon and went straight to my lucky tree. I trimmed that tree and shooting lanes a couple of years before and had killed a couple of deer from it ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif)
