I leave mine setup so all I have to do is walk in with my bow and start climbing. Keeps me quiet and adds about 30 minutes to the hunt. Only downside is if someone beats me to my spot then I have to pray that they don't see or steal it.

Cable lock it to the tree at least if you are leaving it more than one night. That little bit of trouble is nothing compared to how pissed you're gonna be when you slip in at 5am and the sumbitch is gone. I learned this the hard way, more than once.

I came across 2 down on cahaba wma last year and I also had a trial cam stolen in that same area early this season. My cameras have pass codes but I doubt that would stop someone from stealing it.

Anyone know if they opened up CR260 on the Maylene side again? They had a guard shack there for last 2 years and wouldn't let anyone but employees through. About 3 weeks ago I was stopped by a guard on CR 260. He wasn't very friendly.
