Going out Wednesday /Thur/Fri - flintlock time. Have two canoes. You would need to bow hunt, I'd use rifle. Bucks only rifle, rest with bow. Should be busy on the islands.

I may be interested. I'm up in Harvest and hunt with a crossbow. I've been to Wheeler a few times this year. I also have a small Jon boat with 20hp motor and trolling motor as well. Morning would be best for me on Wednesday/Thursday. I'm available both days - message sent

I'm in for Friday. Available all day and was already planning to take my kayak & new crossbow out.
Would like to go with others. Loading up the boat gets scary in the dark. haha

My brother and I were in Wheeler last year and hit something that cut a whole in the boat and threw us out. It was a very cold morning, maybe around 30. We got the boat to the bank before it sank. It was a couple mile walk back. That's scary - there are stumps and snags everywhere out there, I bent my trolling motor mount up a couple of weeks ago. One of the reasons I like a canoe. Even as little water as it draws I still hit stuff.
