Did anybody see or hear of any gooduns getting killed on this hunt? It should have been prime time. I heard 2c shots all day myself, one was before daylight.

The reports I heard from Jacobs Mtn were pitiful. Several guys hunting, only a couple deer seen, and very few shots heard. CD.

I hunted except for a 2 hour lunch break....heard 6 or 7 shots all day, 2 of those might have been on private land to the south. Guys close to me shot 2 does and a 120 inch 10 point. I hunted my favorite 2 spots and never saw a deer.

i saw a dead doe on hwy 65 in the middle of the road. that was the most activity i saw. in the log book at 2:00. there was an 8point and 10 point recorded.

Sounds like reality set when no one killed any big bucks those first few hunts and realized it ain't nothing but a jungle up there!! I thought for sure there would be a few bigguns come off there by now though.

I seen a buck chasing two does but couldn't get a shot. I saw 2 does killed and a buck and heard a lot of shots

I know of a nice 9-point. I got a small 8 on private land.

I hunted on Zone A Friday. We actually saw a fair number of slickheads. Nary a horn behind them....of course.

5 including myself hunted Friday Saturday and today. We only saw 2 deer and both were does. One guy is hunting this afternoon so maybe he will have some luck

We are not seeing very much activity , we have leased some land on the north side of Jacobs Moutain and it has been super slow for us this year. I personally think the deer are freaked out from all the traffic. Im hearing that there is alot of activity toward the paint rock river bottoms?

3 of us hunted til 11 AM today. I seen a buck, about 6:30. Not sure how big he was, just caught a glimpse of him moving thru the cutover. Cousin seen a spike at the same time. Other guy seen nothing. Someone had a tracking dog over close to us about 10:30. At least thats what I thought it was. I seen a decent 8 going in this morning just before the pavement ends.

It looks like the evening was the time to be out there today. I had to get back and pick my boys up and there were deer in the field behind my inlaws at 4 pm.

Anyone see any rutting activity on jacobs this weekend?

The only thing that's gonna rut on Jacob's is squirrels, coyotes, and rattle snakes....the deer have freakin disappeared!

Yeah there were 7 people I knew out there Friday scattered all over the property and none of us seen anything.

We saw a few nanny goats with nothing behind them. Been a strange year so far. Saw a mature deer chasing 2 weeks ago but that is the single deer I've seen acting interested in the girls.

I scored another doe so our total for the weekend was 3 does. I have yet to see a buck in zone b

HBT was 6 inches of mud so I didn't go deep. Killed does up top. Just drug them out right away

He didn't have to. He didn't kill them on the 1+ hour hike in. He killed them toward the top.
