TC, I don't tolerate stupid very well....
this NM GW was a total arse, all 140 pounds of him. When we went to get my bear tagged we went by the local county SO and asked them to call him for us. The girl there said the Sherriff took his radio away because he was an idiot. No lie. We finally found him mid afternoon. Raw bear hides don't keep well without slipping hair and I was concerned. The GW said he didn't have any tags that we would have to drive to Albequerque office to get it tagged..Too late to do that. A local USFS ranger was hunting with us so I said we'd put the hide in his freezer overnight. This idiot GW said "I'll put you in jail if you do that and the Mexicans in there will have a good time with you". Really?? I told him we'd already talked to the jail and he would get no help from them when I stomped his ass in the dirt....we left and put the hide in the freezer.
We did damn near the exact same thing the next afternoon when the fella with me killed his bear.....no tag/freezer/jail/assstomping...idiot.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Me and the bro in law was setting on the tailgait unarmed trying to catch dogs one day back when you could dog hunt. Gw came around curve locked it up slide up right behind us and pulled his pistol and put it right in front of my nose. We were setting there didn't move when he pulled up doors closed guns unloaded. Was a JA and put us up against the truck. Even when found nothing wrong was still a jerk. He got shot in the line of duty about 2 weeks later.

It would be rough line of work and there are definetly some fools out there. I just wish they were required to wear orange like the rest of us. Bhamfred shared a story about almost getting shot the other day. I know several guys that had the Pickens county game wardens making noise coming thru the woods on them and they thought they were a deer or hog until they could make out it was a person
We will burn that bridge when we get there
