Bowhunter84 OP Old Mossy Horns Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 16,156 Alabaster	sunday at lunch i went to my buddy's place to watch them do some long range shooting. he let me shoot his 6.5 creedmoor and his 308 @ 500yds. the longest target i've ever shot at was 125yds so i was a little nervous. i shot 3 shots and hit all 3! the first was a 10" steel plate and the other 2 were 5" plates. i know thats not far for some people but that was a long way for me. it's exciting to shoot that far. i cant wait for my new rifle to get here and get it set up so i can do some more practicing at 250-500yds. Decent factory ammo available. 6mm creedmoor is the new "it" round at the moment. They have some long range matches at Brock's gap if you are interested in that.
