Just wondering, how many of you prefer chasing turkeys alone, or do you typically hunt with someone?

98% alone.

Don't mind company but I usually fly solo.

Well sure. Less people is less movement, less noise, and less pressure. I do hunt with a few people but ain't afraid to bout get lost if I can kill a bird.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

I usually have a partner. If I hunt alone and get one, it is almost a spiritual experience! Tears have come to my eyes on many different turkey hunts just from sheer joy and excitement.

I kill most of my birds alone and hunt alone most of the time. 2 people are just more noise, movement, and another blob sitting against a tree to make movement.

I hunt alone most of the time but prefer to hunt with someone. It makes it way more exciting to me to have someone to share it with.

I'm about 50/50. Even if I go with someone(usually my brother or uncle) we will spilt up and go to opposite ends of property.

Very few people I trust to take, but I do enjoy going with others sometimes. Most of the time I am by my self,I have one thing on my mind when I get in the woods, and most (not all) people stand in the way of that.

I would rather be turkey hunting

Mostly alone. I kill more birds that way. I like taking newbies, but there aren't many "turkey hunters" I've found that hunt like I do. Nothing worse than having someone say at 8 am, "how much longer we gonna hunt," or "man, I'm just gonna stay here, I ain't walking any more hills." If someone goes with me, I usually ask them to drive their truck if I don't know how they hunt. And I'll drive mine if I go with them so I can burn the road up going to my place after they are ready to quit.

I hunt alone unless my dad wants to go. He is the one that taught me so i dont mind going with him.

You need a partner just to tell you the direction they're coming from. After you know that, you seem to do ok rofl

99% alone, and I like it, that way I pay for my own sins ! My father and I will occasionally hunt together, but he mostly hunts alone too. The majority of turkey hunters I know hunt by themselves at least 90% of the time.
