Time.

90% of it with my fiancee' so it's been pretty awesome. We've seen deer every time except twice and she's been a trooper. Praying her patience will pay off Friday and she'll get a good deer!

I killed a lot of time... Does that count?

It's so hard to get help to learn this stuff because people don't want to give away secrets. So I've spent a lot of time at oakulmulgee and Talladega but I have no idea what I'm doing.

I was there yesterday and heard a lot of noise but didn't see anything, then a couple of guys came bye in a atv spooking everything. With my neck bothering me and that I just left.

One spike. Missed a good 8 pt and another spike. Watched a very nice 8 pt
for 45 minutes 25 yards away, just way to thick to shoot. The spike I killed I had my 7 yo with me, sitting on the ground goofing off, so I had more fun with him along then I have all the other trips. It was one of those everything went wrong but we still managed to bring one home. It's been a frustrating season, but still better to be in the woods than working.

One 8pt that I should have let walk. I'll regret that one for a long time. Wasted potential.

I got very lucky in KY. Took a 190" plus unofficial back in November! a drop tine to boot! Been hunting these deer for 48 yrs. biggest I have ever seen much less had the opportunity to harvest.
