My wife has missed more birds than most of ya'll have killed. It took a long time but now I just put my face in my hands and cry quietly instead of standing up and throwing my gun down...
She's REAL hardheaded and just can't keep her head down.
Sounds like her hardheaded husband needs to put a Fastfire on her gun and save the both of them a bunch of head and heartache.
dangitboy, I was putting chitt on guns when you were still crapping in a diaper. I've said I don't like em, not that I haven't tried em.
I've put everything but a kitchen sink on several guns she has had/owned/used. Hardhead still lifts that dang head. I'm thinking duct tape around her head and gunstock MIGHT work....
Problem with her is, like a lot of new turkey hunters these days, is that she has very little to no experience shooting a shotgun on other game. Unlike a lot of us older heads that grew up shooting all manner of stuff with a shotgun and LEARNED to shoot...then started turkey hunting with a lot of shooting experience under our belts.
Not counting eye problems, if a man can't kill birds with a front bead only he needs to learn how to shoot the dang gun.
