This was the worst year I've ever had for food plot hunting. I figured out they were using the plots when I wasn't there, between 11:00-2:30. That's a fact. I wouldn't see deer in them at all in the afternoon, and they would fill up while everybody else was eating lunch. Saw some of the same at our place. I started doing mid-day food plot stalks. And when we went to a plot about 2-3 for a PM hunt, the deer were already there many times. Saw the same thing at our hunting club. I saw more deer this year between the hours of 9-1 than any other time. Let a really nice get by me a couple weeks ago at 11:00 am while I was making a sandwich for lunch.
