Looks like I will be doing Brannan and Dreamstrike around the end of March. Im gonna start hitting up Brooks Hines and keep killing them at the club. Went last week and caught 43 busting shad. Best of the year so far is 7.5lbs, hopefully i will top that by next month I'd be glad to go if you want a partner for a trip. Let me know man. Will do. Me and a guy from work are giving brannan a run Saturday. I will let ya know how it went.

Ray Scott has opened up his ponds to fish and pay, pay a lot.
There are numerous ponds and clubs around Montgomery that offer memberships for bass fishing. I have been a member of SouthWynn near Hayneville for over 20 years. Been some might good ones come out of those three ponds in the past. Last year a 14.5lb bass was caught and released in Feb. When we going I grew up fishing down there. I remember me and dad catching 12 over 6lb one morning out of number 3
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Bumping this old post as I am live in North Mobile as well and am looking for a private lake to fish in. I mostly kayak fish with fly rods and am looking for a nice place to put in on a regular basis. I am completely open to paying yearly dues for this privilege. Booner, where is this stocked lake you are a member of. I would gladly pay these dues for a private lake. Hammerhead...I live in Saraland as well, do you still have info on that lake in Stockton? ShaneB my inlaws live in Vaughns in Satsuma and every time I go over the little creek just above the 19 exit I think how cool it would be to put a kayak or a two person plastic boat in there and float it to fish. Looks 20-30' wide right there and pretty fishy to my untrained eye. Never know where you'll find fish. I saw a 5lb or so bass and 30-40 hand size or better bream in the drainage ditch that runs under Airport Blvd next to Baby's R Us and Wings.

I fish four private pay lakes on a regular basis from early spring until fall. Other than Dreamstrike I didnt know the others existed until last year. Are there any small lakes or ponds yall know about that are managed for bass that are available ? I don't know about availability, but this is the only one I know of: http://donavanlakes.org/

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!!! I don't have any other information on it. The guy I know that use to fish it is no longer a member and said that he doesn't know who runs it now or who to contact.
