I fish four private pay lakes on a regular basis from early spring until fall. Other than Dreamstrike I didnt know the others existed until last year. Are there any small lakes or ponds yall know about that are managed for bass that are available ?

Booner, I've been to Dreamstrike numerous times. I didn't know other paid lakes existed either. Fill us in on the others please. I see we're both in Mobile, maybe I'll have to hitch a ride with you to one of these places.

Come on anytime! Right down the road theres a high fenced area that has two 12acre ponds with some BIG bass after you weed through the small ones for $35/day. I have caught everything from 2-10lbs and have seen a 13.5 caught and released from there.Hundred fish days are pretty often. Those are also stocked with hybrid bream called "GA Giants" that get 2-3lb. I am in a fishing club in N.Mobile that has a 60 acre stocked lak that is pretty good for $400yr. Theres Donavon Lakes in Marion for $800yr, and I go to a place in Florida thats only $20/day for bass/crappie/bream. If that fails I have six private 2-3acre ponds I can hit up.

What, and where, is "Dreamstrike" lake?

There is a private (club) lake around Stockton. I forget what the yearly dues are, but a friend of mine use to be a member there and I have seen pics of some of the fish he has caught there, and they were nice fish.

Ive fished Dreamstrike for the last 4years on the regular and know mike very well. Next time yall are that way hit me up, there is some tricks to that lake for the big ones. Also, mike will let you keep bream and catfish if you want and the catfish are good size.

Ray Scott has opened up his ponds to fish and pay, pay a lot.

There are numerous ponds and clubs around Montgomery that offer memberships for bass fishing. I have been a member of SouthWynn near Hayneville for over 20 years. Been some might good ones come out of those three ponds in the past. Last year a 14.5lb bass was caught and released in Feb.

They have several packages available. 2-3 days, spending the night and having dinner with Ray, yata yata yata. If I recall, and I could be wrong but somewheres around $1900, but you could spend a lot more or less depending on what you wanted.

Bumping this old post as I am live in North Mobile as well and am looking for a private lake to fish in. I mostly kayak fish with fly rods and am looking for a nice place to put in on a regular basis. I am completely open to paying yearly dues for this privilege. Booner, where is this stocked lake you are a member of. I would gladly pay these dues for a private lake. Hammerhead...I live in Saraland as well, do you still have info on that lake in Stockton?

ShaneB my inlaws live in Vaughns in Satsuma and every time I go over the little creek just above the 19 exit I think how cool it would be to put a kayak or a two person plastic boat in there and float it to fish. Looks 20-30' wide right there and pretty fishy to my untrained eye.

Never know where you'll find fish. I saw a 5lb or so bass and 30-40 hand size or better bream in the drainage ditch that runs under Airport Blvd next to Baby's R Us and Wings.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!!! grin

I don't have any other information on it. The guy I know that use to fish it is no longer a member and said that he doesn't know who runs it now or who to contact.
