As I was walking through the cutover a good buck came over the hill, we saw each other about the same time. He was about 150 yds away so didn't want to risk a off hand shot, I laid down in prone position but he ran off before I could shoot DANG IT!!! May be he will come back through. My wife and I hunted here yesterday afternoon and saw 8 does and a spike so there's plenty of bait around.
