One that was 152 and one that was 138...so close. Maybe I should remeasure. wink

Some of you jokers have killed more 150s than 140s. Amazes me. I just can't break that barrier in AL.

I've never killed one over 100. Had a chance at a goodun in 09, had couple of encounters with stick and string but couldn't close the deal. He disappeared before gun season and ended up getting killed end of season on a plot almost a mile away.

That is one heck of an 8. What did it score? Great trail cam pic too...

It's one of he better offseason topics in my opinion. I bet DCNR wishes they could get this kind of response and feedback. It gives great perspective to me on what people are killing. Anyone up for a 12" beard and 1-1/2" spur thread spinoff in the Bird forum?

I have not killed any and as long as I limit my hunting to Mobile County the odds are against me, but call me a home body I like sleeping in my own bed at night smile. So I will just have to be happy with the biggest I can get within an hour of my house.....

I have five P&Y, free range, bow kills on my wall and only one of them is over 140. It's a 153 from the great state of Missouri. Two are from Bama and other three are from IL and MO. In Alabama, I have only seen VERY few bucks that I thought were over 150.

If you kill a 140 in Alabama, you've done something special. I mean they're not out of the question... in Alabama, they're just not behind every tree. Some locations have more than others. Like where 2dogs lives! smile Lucky dog! (pun intended!)
