I have five P&Y, free range, bow kills on my wall and only one of them is over 140. It's a 153 from the great state of Missouri. Two are from Bama and other three are from IL and MO. In Alabama, I have only seen VERY few bucks that I thought were over 150. If you kill a 140 in Alabama, you've done something special. I mean they're not out of the question... in Alabama, they're just not behind every tree. Some locations have more than others. Like where 2dogs lives!  Lucky dog! (pun intended!) Black belt is where it's at. Everyone knows, pines growing in black soil is da ticket. yea your right! Our only problem is the poachers are working pretty hard again. And we got a club close to us shooting anything. Don't understand why anybody would wanna pay that kind of money, and drive that far just to kill anything. So this year we didn't kill any doe's probably not gonna shoot none this year either....
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
