he should recieve the BAN HAMMER unless he has a legitimate reason for not following up. Or at least banned from posting in the classifieds.

I'm here just to clarify, I sold the rifle,3% to aldeer. lumpy I had several that responded from 256 area code. I texted All pics because I could not figure out how to post pics since you cannot post a gun on craigslist and post link here. I got your and another person from Cullman text's mixed up. Mistake on my part.I have posted a couple of items on here, but this was my first sale.if it were easier to post pics on site, there would be a lot less confusion rather than sending a dozen or so text messages.

Agree. Had you, or had you not, already set up a meeting point and time with Lumpy? That's the question, and if so, then there was zero reason for any confusion....multiple text messages or not.

I always confirm the members ID I'm communicating with even thru emails or texts.

Ok, I haven't commented because I'm not sure what happened. I do know that I met the guy and like many of you that I have met; he seems like a great guy. I also know that according to the time frame when Lumpy said he was supposed to be meeting him; I should have been meeting him that morning but because of the snow we moved it to that evening. He said he put sold because he was getting over run with messages and couldn't keep up with all of them; said it was mine if I wanted it but couldn't meet until a later day. He kept in touch and we met over the weekend. With all of that said, I have no way to know if communication is going on other than with me. I will also say; if anyone ever thinks I have done anything wrong I assure you I will make it right and Lumpy is no different. If he wants the gun; he can still have it. My name is way more important than a gun. I gave the man exactly what he was asking for the gun.

So this guy never realized he set up deals with different guys. So did u agree to meet them at the same place and time? I would think if I set up to meet 2 people I would remember that. Wow glad I decided not to get it

Thanks for the offer Randy74 but I wouldn't feel right "making" you give up a good deal because of something that was not under your control....I truly appreciate the offer and it speaks volume for you as a person
