Now that pine goat season is in the books we can get serious about a real contest. Y'all get signed up in the next few days. I will get teams drawn the week before season at the latest. Sign up will be the same as the deer contest : Screen name Age States you will be hunting Dates (If known) of those states if other than Alabama ** Rules ** You will be allowed to enter 3birds, if you kill a larger bird than you have previously posted, you will be allowed to upgrade but only three of your birds will count. The entry requirements will be the same as the deer contest, you MUST have a picture of the WHOLE bird. No cut off beards or spurs - NO EXCEPTIONS. You must either have a picture of you and the bird OR you may place something in the picture with your team name/date on it that is able to be read in the picture. Take as many pics as you would like to verify the scoring of your bird but you must have a pic of the WHOLE bird. If you have any questions on entries, please look at the deer contest entries for some examples since we no longer have years past of turkey entries... ** Scoring ** You will be required to get the score of your bird yourself from the NWTF site. You will be required to post measurements along with the score you receive from the NWTF site. Measurements will be measured in 1/8 inches... Here is the link you must go to and score your bird and post the results with your entry. *** NWTF Turkey Score Calculator *** By signing up, you agree that you have read and understand the rules. Again, if you join, please participate! No need to sign up again if you were on the winning team from last year because the team will stay the same.
