One other thing: you can use an old slate call striker to seat the wad, cork, and felt. Or an extension for a 3/8" drive ratchet Dowel works good too! So does a pen or pencil...I don't use a powder trickler either, I just tap it out of the scoop till it gets close, then I use tweezers to add or subtract a flake until it's perfect (same way I measure the TSS)

pardon my ignorance but could you not use a normal reloader granted it wouldnt be a roll crimp but would a normal press crimp work ? Yes, it will work if you already have a reloader. The roll crimp is cheaper for those people that don't already have a reloader.

I roll the 20s because I don't have a 20 gauge press. Another problem is the recipes designed for a roll don't usually have enough hull above the shot to crimp with a press.
