If it had been Alan Jackson screeching "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere!" advocating drinking all day or Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" talking about boning all night without saying the f-word, would it have been the same scenario?
Teenagers are stupid and want to be noticed. Some might not have said "Yes'sir" and turned it down.
Would it be worth killing or injuring an unarmed kid in a parking lot or having three of them beat you or kill/injure you, over music? Principles are great. Glad they turned it down and glad you felt compelled. But not every situation turns out this way, though.
What if they had told you to "F--k off" and let the music play?
