Just a question, but why would I put in cheap knock off lenses in my $200 sunglasses? I don't buy Costas for the frame, I buy them for the excellent lenses. Exactly what I was thinking...

I don't understand paying 200 bucks for a pair of sunglasses. GOD has only given us one set of eyes and I use mine daily. I try and take care of them best I can. I also almost immediately get headaches in bright sunlight.

Because when you scratch the original lenses up on your Costa's from wearing them so hard these are a lot cheaper than sending your glasses back to Costa and you don't have to go without them. I doubt too many people except for the owners of fuse lenses are buying new Costa's and immediately replacing the lenses.

Who says Costa Lenses are great? For $38 bucks I will give them a try, and since I have been wearing Costas every hour of daylight when outside for the last 25 years, I will know with in a day if there any good. Just last year I had bifocals bought from an eye center that wasn't costa del mar and the lenses were the same quality. I do know that the mark up on Costa products is about a %1000 percent.

I have a pair of Costas and they are good but I have had sunglasses that cost a third what the Costas do, that I felt were just as good.

Don't understand this. Any time my Costas have been damaged they were fixed with Costa parts FREE of charge. This^^ I've sent mine back twice and only had to pay shipping to get them there

Some things are warranted and some things are not. They charge for any lens damage now days.

I've had excellent service from the warranty department too, only paying the $11.95. What were you having warrantied and when was the last time you had to send some back? They will not replace scratched lenses under warranty. They will replace broken frames.
