Right out of high school in 95 I started at Snead State with a scholarship. No way I could have paid by myself. After that, I got a job at Hanna Steel and they offered full paid tuition and books as long as you had a C or above. I wasted a year or two and finally signed up for Jacksonville. After a year, the steel market tanked and the company stopped all scholarships. I did not get to go for my senior year. I still did ok, but the lesson learned is that you take any scholarship money offered to you asap. If I hadn't piddled around, I could have graduated.
