Below is a quote from one of the people on this topic...
Nobody's going to remember this past year's AU team. Nobody ever remembers the 2nd place team. And most of the nation still thought Bama was the best team in the nation even after the second fluke win of the year for AU. The nation got on the bandwagon briefly because of the 2 MIRACLE plays. That's exactly what they were, MIRACLES.
I'm not hiding...I just love this website but don't make it my point to respond everytime I hit a nerve with certain people..
Like I said, I work with both alabama and auburn fans...Alabama fans are still looking for excuses on why they lost...They are blaming referees and how the other team cheated...Auburn fans are saying we should have won that last game but took it with stride...The way I see it, Saban choked with his coaching..He could have won both those games if he would have done things differently..There is no doubt he has the most talented team in the country but if they don't play to their potential they are destined to lose some games...
Also, I did not say that Auburn was the best team in the country...
