I actually hit a turkey on I 59 close to Trussville about 10 years ago. He flew up out of the road right into my windshield.

Replaced 2 windshields on my wives car/van due to them big birds. First bird came in to the front seat. Never hit a pine goat. Tried to skin one once. Not a pretty site.
