I can't wait but I have a feeling my wife is gonna go into labor on Saturday. I have been waiting on March 15 since the season ended last year and she could have the baby any day now. We actually planned on trying having a kid around turkey season but sometimes god has a different plan. Heard the second most gobbles I have ever heard on the youth hunt and have been sitting on go since. If she does go into labor that is the only two days I will miss. The birth of my first child is one of the few things I'll miss a day chasing turkeys for that and selling a piece of land or helping someone sell a piece of land are honestly the only things I can think of I'd rather do.

25 year ago my daughter was born on March 17th back when opening day was the 20th. I was packing for a weekend at he hunting club my wife came in and said I think my water broke my response was nay you just pissed in your pants. Need less to say I was wrong. Did get to hunt opening morning then to the hospital to take my baby girl home.

I've got my rattling spurs, my hen in estrous pee and all of my scentlok is washed and dried with fresh earth dryer sheets. I even broke down and bought a couple of new hen and gobbler yelp tubes to try out this year. I'm ready freddy…..
